Career and Milkha Singh History
After Partition Milkha Singh tried hard for Army Job but he was Refused 3 times. Later in the 4th Attempt, he got Job in Army. In their army job he followed his Mentor and under his guidance he participates in National Games 1958 and snapped 200 meters and 400-meter records in Cuttack National Games.
After this, he set many Records in Sprint and Track Race like Tokyo Olympics, Rome Olympics. According to Milkha Interview, he was Invited from Pakistan in 1962 for Asian Games. Earlier Milkha refused Pakistan Games because of his Past history as he never wanted to go to Pakistan as this Land killed his parent that is why he does not want to go there.

In 1962 Mr. Jawahar Lal Nehru was Pm of India he met with Milkh Singh and convinced him to participates in the Pakistan Games. Milkha gets ready anyhow for Pakistan Asian Games and he defeats Abdul Khaliq in Pakistan Games. At that time Pakistani President Mohammad Ayyub Khan was present in the Games. President Ayyub Khan was very surprised by Milkha Singh Performance and he said Milkha Singh was looking like as Flying in Track instead of running. The Very First time he called Milkha Singh Flying Sikh and this title was given by the Pakistani President.
